1. Scope and operator
This policy explains how UKR.dev, the operator of the ukr.dev website, handles personal data connected with public website use and direct business inquiries. Project delivery, client systems and access to client data are governed by separate agreements and project-specific instructions.
If you contact us on behalf of an organization, you should only provide information that you are authorized to share.
2. Data we may receive
Depending on how you use the website, we may receive:
- contact and business information included in an email, such as your name, email address, organization, role and project context;
- technical request data created by hosting infrastructure, such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, response status, referrer and browser or device information;
- correspondence, files or links that you choose to send while discussing a potential or active engagement.
The current public website does not create user accounts and does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes, the policy and consent controls will be updated before those tools are used where required.
3. How data is used
Data may be used to respond to inquiries, understand a requested service, prepare and manage an engagement, operate and secure the website, diagnose technical problems, prevent abuse, maintain business records and comply with legal obligations.
The applicable legal basis depends on the context and may include steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent where required, or compliance with law.
4. Contact forms, email and AI
The visible form in the offline version uses your browser to prepare a message for your email application. The page itself does not transmit or store the entered values. Once you send an email, it is processed by the relevant email providers and by UKR.dev for the purposes described above.
Do not include passwords, private keys, production credentials, special-category personal data or confidential datasets in an initial inquiry. Any use of project data with AI services must be defined in the project scope, access model and data-handling agreement before that use begins.
5. Service providers and disclosure
Data may be processed by providers needed to operate the website and business communication, such as hosting, infrastructure and email services. Access is limited to the purpose of the service and the available contractual and technical controls.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or system security, or in connection with a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. UKR.dev does not sell contact data.
6. Retention and security
Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the inquiry, engagement, security, record-keeping or legal purpose for which it was collected. Retention can differ where a contract, dispute, financial record or legal requirement applies.
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to reduce unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No internet or email transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so sensitive access information should use an agreed secure channel.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to contact the relevant data protection authority.
Send a request to contact@ukr.dev. We may need enough information to verify the request and identify the relevant records.
8. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when the website, data practices or legal requirements change. The updated date on this page identifies the current version.
Questions about privacy or this policy can be sent to contact@ukr.dev.
